York Masses on Holy Days

There will be Mass at 6pm in the church of the English Martyrs in York on each of the forthcoming (untransferred) Holydays of Obligation. That is:

Thursday 23rd June Corpus Christi
Wednesday 29th June St Peter & St Paul

Therse two Masse really will take place, unlike on the feast of the Ascension, when Fr Maughan was in Lourdes.

There will be a short procession after Mass of Corpus Christi.

We are very blessed that Fr Maughan is able to say Mass on these feast days but just a couple of things to note...

1) Corpus Christi is actually Thursday 23rd June and is NOT a Holy day of Obligation in England and Wales - though it is wonderful to be able to celebrate the feast on its correct day.

2) After Low Mass on Corpus Christi there will be a bring and share supper to which everyone is welcome.
