In October, there will be two weekday Sung Masses at the York Oratory.
To celebrate the Feast of St John Henry Newman on Friday 9th October, there will be a Solemn Mass at 6pm. The Musical setting will be Rheinberger's Cantus Misae, with the motets, Os justi by Bruckner and Beati quorum via by Stanford.
A few days later on Monday 12th October, again at 6pm, the feast of St Wilfrid will be celebrated with another Solemn Mass. This time the Mass will be set to plainchant. The Oratory choir will be singing the seldom heard Mass II, Kyrie fons Bonitatis.
