We had the great privilege & pleasure of spending Christmas in York & of attending the Solemn High Mass at St Wilfrid's on Christmas Eve. The Mass was wonderful & the Ordinary of the Mass was sung unaccompanied by a small & excellent choir. I did not recognise the setting but it sounded almost medieval.
