Ushaw Priests Training Conference Day Three - Mass St Justin, Martyr

I find it rather shocking that with all those clergy present all they can muster is a Missa Cantata and Compline.

What about Matins and Lauds, the other Hours and Vespers. Surely the Conference would be the ideal opportunity to celebrated the full liturgy as both a reference standard and for its didactic value.

By all means have an additional Missa Cantata or even several but surely there should be a daily Solemn Mass as a minimum?

Anonymous, fret not - lauds, vespers, benediction, numerous private Masses are taking place alongside compline and missa cantata.

This is a training course so the idea is to show priests what is possible in their parishes so it would be unrealistic to have a solemn high Mass every day. However, the best is yet to come...

fantastic pictures but why is the lay man acting as M.C. wearing what looks like a rochet?

Aside from that, looks perfect!

Thanks for all the hard work you put into it.

Anonymous seems to have a bee in the bonnet about something.
Sad.

Rediculous comments from a person who would quite likely prefer nothing other than scanty low Masses in the middle of nowhere, at 4 in the afternoon, so they still feel like a persecuted minority.

Pathetic indeed.
