The purpose of this blog is to provide an open forum for discussion of the aims of the society; news from the wider Church and details of Masses and events of interest in the diocese. The Latin Mass Society in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Middlesbrough expresses its full filial devotion and loyalty to Holy Mother Church, Pope Francis and Bishop Drainey.

More Latin Masses in York

The number of traditional Masses in York is set to double. In future there will be a sung Mass in the usus antiquior on the first and third Sunday of each month. They will be at 6.00pm at English Martyrs Church, Dalton Terrace. The new shhedule starts on Sunday 4th November.

Fr William Hudson will be the celebrant and the music will be provided by the Rudgate Singers.

Please come and encourage others to come. We need to prove that there is a demand for the old Mass.

Incidentally we could do with a regular orginist.
